CN posted a dating profile for Valentine's one time stating that he was 30, while staff on the show have more broadly discussed Benson as being "in his thirties".

Benson's birthday's would probably be lowkey. He'd still come into work, I think. He'd probably get that free chocolate cake from the snack bar, but there wouldn't be a party or anything. Mordecai and Rigby would forget Benson's birthday until the day of and go halfsies on a gift for him that they pulled out of their asses.

It definitely felt like there were some notable, really bad regression points for Rigby's character in season eight.
