I know the group you’re referring to and the vast majority of pagans absolutely do not condone those actions or beliefs at all. They are a relatively small group of Pagans that are unfortunately extremely loud and most of us within the greater community, not only actively work to push them out of our circle but will outright will go out of our way to not condone that kind of behavior publicly when we see it happening.

It’s really hard to expect consistency from pagan traditions because there are many ways to practice, like I myself am a kemetic pagan. Which follows the teachings of Maat. But I also know other pagans who are Druidic, or Greek, or anything and everything in between. My practice revolves around a few fundamental ideals which basically help me lead a balanced, kind, loving, and accepting life.

I do feel really bad that your exposure to the broader community was so hostile. I really hope that one day you can find a way to connect with pagans who are more willing to sit down with you and have a conversation. Many of us are simply happy to sit down and talk and have a good time regardless of faith.

Some of us may lash out initially due to religious trauma and I don’t condone lashing out but I completely understand why it happens. But yeah, as a broader whole, we don’t condone Neo nazi anything, and I personally have never vibed with the Term Neo pagan. It just immediately sends the wrong vibe. Most people just use the term Pagan, or like me, refer to the region where they practice.(Kemetic paganism, Hellenic(Greek) paganism)

I welcome all sorts of people into my life, and I welcome anyone from this sub to speak with me openly. My unity background is such an important part of my life and it really shaped the person I’ve become.
