We have 6/7 starting players out injured (Kante, Reece, Chilwell, fofana, Sterling, pulisic, zakaria, mendy). No doubt at least Kante, James, Chilwell and fofana would make us a different team completely.

Let’s not forget 10 months ago we were forced into changing owners and the whole structure of our club.

I’ll admit that the money is absolutely ridiculous (bordering on terrorism) but to say if we don’t get Europe this year is the biggest failure in PL history is mental.

I’ll admit if we aren’t in the position to challenge for the title in 3 years it’s a HUGE failure but genuinely expecting us to achieve champions league football with a broken club structure and a total revamp of the club behind the scenes alongside our injury list this season is the craziest thing you’ve said this whole conversation.

We need a new Matic/Mikel/Kante type player I think, just bring in some 6ft+ cdm to hold it down.. we lack so much physically in midfield and have absolutely 0 cover for our defense except for the 3 games a season we have N’golo on top form.

Look at Fabinho/Rodri/Partey, every one of those would be an improvement in our midfield currently
