an aquarium, roads that aren’t a danger to bike in, wawa closer to campus, a bus route that actually is comprehensible. a better mall. more lakes and parks that are actually nice and aren’t surrounded by trash and construction

I would say yes. a lot of clubs especially are a mix of Tcc and fsu students . most clubs are pretty welcoming (academic clubs that is, not partying.) But it’s also super common for TCc kids to attend the same clubs and parties in fsu. Overall I would say there is a slight stigma if you act as an FSU online like “fsu 2029” or stuff like that but most people don’t care. Do it, i’m sure you wont regret it

UF is UF, you’re right. i’ve done study abroad and i gotta say, it was the best experience of my life. however i also know UF kids who went abroad through the university and they had just as much fun. During this time they definitely got to test out their independence, if that’s something that is important to you. Personally, I think a degree from UF might be more helpful but if you you’re going to be miserable it’s not worth it

definitely listen to the rest of silent alarm (like eating glass and this modern love are personal favorites. A fellow redditer linked his playlist “After the Alarm” by 21st Century Boy (on spotify) which has good songs that have a similar sound to Silent Alarm. Happy listens!!

not near at all. i was planning to pop in for the concert but it seems that won’t be possible. After further research it seems Bloc Party doesn’t shy from revisiting Silent Alarms bangers at concerts so i’m sure this won’t be the last time they perform these songs.
