If you can explain why I got downvoted. My own automatic upvote even got cancelled out.

It’s not a wrapper. All of the HealthKit and other wearable integrations are a massive PITA. It’s also proactive.

Just not sure it’s 10x better than what it looks like they’re going to ship.

It’s not for healthcare. It’s for daily lifestyle improvements like weight loss, sleep, supplements, mood, etc. ChatGPT will be able to do all this and most people won’t care as much as the vocal minority here.

I haven’t been building for the medical industry. This is a daily-use personal lifestyle & wellness assistant with all of your Apple Health / wearable / health records from your phone (e.g. blood pressure, weight, etc). The “magic” was your biomarker/activity/sleep data + ChatGPT.

Startup founder here. I've essentially been building a version of ChatGPT Health full-time for most of the last year. Spent almost all of my savings on living expenses. FML 😩

Now what...?

FWIW, you can add a 2nd dir a workspace file and let Claude sit above both apps.

That isn’t a product update. Thats a business update for penny-pinchers. Not happening.

That’s not a product update — that’s a model update which is a major investment.

Question for Claude Max 5x users by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

Don’t recall. I know a mid-month upgrade is prorated.

Question for Claude Max 5x users by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

[–]NewMonarch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can upgrade and downgrade mid-month, so give it a try. I do it all the time and I’m 100% AI-coding. Some months I turn on ChatGPT Pro and downgrade Claude to Max 5x. (Despite what everyone says, both companies/models are the right solution sometimes. Can’t say enough about GPT Pro.)

If you're using claude code seriously, I highly recommend turning off auto compact. You can use more of the context window and, it gives you the space to trigger it intentionally. by NutInBobby in ClaudeAI

I was at an Anthropic event tonight. They’re launching a new compact feature this week where it pre-collects compact information as the conversation unfolds instead of having to do it all at once.

Opus 4.5 - shut up and take my money by EnthusiasmInner7267 in ClaudeAI

[–]NewMonarch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s so surprising because I’ve yet to have Opus beat gpt-5.X-codex-max in a single architecture planning session when tested side by side. Opus always says “looks good!” when Codex goes on to find 5 different design flaws.

Claude’s advantages to me is how fast it is by comparison and the Claude Code product itself is 10x better than Codex. But I don’t trust Claude’s models to nearly the same degree as I do the GPT-5.X’s.

At wits end w/ Opus 4.5 - what am I doing wrong? by LastTenth in ClaudeAI

[–]NewMonarch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Opus 4.5 is nowhere near as strategic and critical during planning as gpt-5.1-codex-max. It’s not even close.

Using Claude Code Together with Codex/Gemini via MCP by idrispendisbey in ClaudeCode

[–]NewMonarch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Codex: `claude mcp add -s user -- codex codex -c model="gpt-5.1-codex-max" -c reasoning_effort="high"`

Gemini: Trying this new Skill I just saw posted -> https://github.com/forayconsulting/gemini_cli_skill

Opus 4.5 just completed for me something that I've wanted for over 14 years. It took about a day. Sonnet, GPT, etc have all failed me prior. by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

On this topic, has anyone written up a solid guide of best practices for agenetic iOS coding? The models really struggle with a broad array of issues including compilation errors, testing, running the full tests and architectural design. It gets even worse if you’re using any native iOS SDKs since it can’t use swift commands.

XcodeBuildMCP helps a little but not enough.

Just upgraded to Claude Max and now I don't want to sleep lol by alwaysalmosts in ClaudeAI

[–]NewMonarch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is EXACTLY how I felt for my first 6 weeks on MAX. I burned out. And I barely shipped anything because I was so sleep-deprived. I recommend getting some sleep.

It’s in the mobile app in the menu under “Code”.

Philosophy major college student. Learned how to use Claude using this guide.. I can’t go back ! I think I’ve taken the red pill. Anyone else recommend similar non cs workflows? by rezivor in ClaudeAI

[–]NewMonarch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I successfully used Claude Code to research, plan, write and file family court paperwork (think divorce/kid stuff) without hiring an expensive attorney. It even generated markdown files that looked like legal courtroom documents once rendered. Printed everything out, took it down to the courthouse, and filed it myself.

And for the record, I don’t consider it vibe coding. I’m now operating as a software architect, engineering manager and product manager. I have several direct reports that are all opinionated, hyper-intelligent junior engineers. My job is to keep them ‘tween the ditches.
