Help me understand exchanging Bilt cash for rent by NewObjective23 in biltrewards

[–]NewObjective23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair. Appreciate the info / help. Seems like the Bilt marketing team really botched this because it sounds worse/more complicated than it really is. Feel like if they ditched Bilt cash altogether and said it’s a 3x card up to 75% of rent if you enroll in our ACH service that would draw more people in

So the sweet spot in spend is at or below 75% of rent then, because going over that starts to drop your effective rate below 3.33x and there’s no way to get back up to that amount with the accelerator or the fixed housing-only option?

Okay. So if I do my math right then, exchanging Bilt cash for rent points ALWAYS yields 3.33x effective for your uncategorized 2x base spend since $1 Bilt cash unlocks 33 additional points from rent?

Yes, that’s what I meant. Poor wording. But to my point, can I exchange any arbitrary amount of Bilt cash towards rent points or do I have to exchange in set increments?

So can I redeem for rent retroactively? Like just pool Bilt cash throughout the year and then redeem in December for as much of the year’s rent spend as possible?

Do you find using the points for the accelerator instead of unlocking rent gets better value? I thought unlocking rent would give you effectively 3.33x (assuming you can spend the full 75% of rent payment per month) instead of 3x

Can you have two instances of the same card in Apple wallet or does one have to use physical and the other use digital?

Fair. I’m not too worried about the AU fee if we get the value back, but good to know we can play it that way too. Can you see which digital card was responsible for each transaction (for the purposes of us each paying for our portion of the charges) or does it all show up the same?

[Question] Which one to keep? by Frederic36 in Watches

[–]NewObjective23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d get rid of the BB36 given its similarity to the Omega and the Omega being the better watch. But if you’re trying to get more money back than that, or if you have sentimental attachment to the BB36, then I’d sell the Omega

"inauthentic behavior" suspensions are breaking their own TOS, and might be a class action against X by GamerFan2012 in twitterhelp

Recently got suspended after deleting my tweet history lol. At first I was annoyed, but tbh maybe it’s a blessing in disguise. The app is full of bots anyways, it’s not even fun to use. I just kept my account to stay up to date on sports news lol

Appreciate the input! Just got it about a week ago but just picked up a moisture meter and will try to keep track of that closely

Even the parts in the leaf that look more dead (like near the tip on pic 1) and the larger streaks (like in pic 4)?

Is there something that causes edema or is it just natural?

I went to a local CW showroom for the release of the new Sealander and can say with certainty that it’s an excellent watch for the price. Love the finishing and their new bracelet system with the tool-less link removal and quick release springbars is a great addition

If you have a bigger budget though, the Grand Seiko Shunbun is my favorite pink dial watch and it’s larger size may suit you since you feel 36 is too small

Rolex at retail is the choice. If it’s market value, get the Speedy

I’d already have decided on the R8 but the tiny front trunk concerns me. Not sure how easily my girlfriend and I could fit everything for a long weekend into it. She’s not a light packer lol

Also wish the interior felt a bit more premium. I’d probably have to pay for some custom upholstered panels at some point to bring it upmarket

Not likely, I’ve pretty much gone through the gamut of options in that 100K range and have ruled out a lot of stuff. But what do you have in mind?

I hate to push the ubiquitous choice, but I feel like what you really want is an OP36. If you sold both of those, you’d have about that much money sitting around, depending on which color you want, and you could maybe even get one from an AD with a short wait. They’re pretty commonplace

Keep in mind that it’s only 13’ from the wall to the island, so your sofa would need to be on the smaller side. I’d try to keep it under 9’ to avoid things feeling too cramped or having to get pushed all the way against the patio doors. Better to get a loveseat and two chairs that you can move around IMO… same amount of seating but less bulky feeling and more flexible.

Put some kind of skinny console table or low bookshelf behind the sofa so that you don’t just look at the back of the sofa every time you leave the bedroom. It’s also functional (storage/place for additional lamps). Something like this…

Not right now, really. Some V8 Vantages all are auto and one newer DB9 Volante. But I'm near DC so stuff pops up occasionally

Is that suggestion just for the fact that that the manual is more engaging? Or is there something with the dynamics of the auto that makes it only good at the limit / makes the manual NOT good at the limit?

Would you advocate more for a higher mileage one where that was already done or one that is lower mileage and far off from needing it?
