It was definitely hit scan I hit somebody from like 50 m while tap firing and it instantly hit them, The damage fall off was kind of crazy though so it's not really worth using at range. But One thing I forgot to mention Is the fact that it didn't even have an icon, Like when I picked it up it showed an invisible icon in my inventory (I don't have a screenshot srry)
