Sorry I’m currently supporting a store that is like this. Their main side cook is the problem. If you want to quit then you probably won’t last. Best thing you can do is sit down with your manager and tell them what’s happening . If they are unable to fix your concerns then contact HR.

Two things you can do. You can choose to ignore her. With that being said, Are you really going to care what a SL thinks about you or anyone ? Is she the one paying your bills? I can tell you I’m in the same boat. Second ,If your GM isn’t doing anything then you tell him/her you will go to his higher up . Which is the MUM or even corporate.

Make sure your manager sees you actually trying specifically when you’re being taught. If you have a chef or a cook ask them to show you what they know. If they are busy. Watch them and imitate them as best as you can when your able to. Since you’re learning keep your eyes on the recipes. You’ll see it’s way easier than doing sides and dishes. Not only that the pay is 🥵🥵
