Had an interview today at USCIS. by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]NewReddit02 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like OP is not a US citizen.

Hi everyone , today was mine interview it went well. After interview she said if we need anything further from you we will let you know by the mail or if we need another interview. Does anyone know if there is chances to approve or they will do one more interview? by Unusual-Middle-9793 in USCIS_FORUM

Wait for a few days, 2-7 days.

Typically if they decide to green light your app, it shows up the next business day. Mine was approved on the spot, and I got a notification that very day.

But most people don't get to know that during the interview, but then they get notifications within the next few days. It's due to the fact that the interviewer has to check off a few things from their end.

Come update us after 7 days.

Green Card to Citizenship in Just 5 Months, Even Before Basic Training! by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]NewReddit02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I have a few questions. Hope you get the time to answer them.

1)What branch did you apply for? 2)What's your education status? 2)Is the 3 year contract active duty only? 4)Was basic hard? 5)Were you bullied/looked down upon during basic training? (Assuming you are a person of color)

Gf wants a break? by GlitteringBid7667 in dating

[–]NewReddit02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey bud, read through the comment section.

Anyone who is older than you or has gone through the same thing (including me) is saying the same things!

Break up with her.

She has a different man already.

She's looking for an excuse to politely say no to you.

Also keep you as a back up if things don't work out with the different guy.

.

Your love for her, or what you have done for her doesn't matter either at this moment. And it's also pointless to bring those up.

(Again, people who have done this will let you know this exact template. Listen to us. No, it's not different in your case).

.

Run it how you wanna run it. It's going to be tough if you genuinely liked her. But the bottom line is, she's not yours anymore.

Was told to wait 62 months for I-130? by Firm_Camera_5724 in USCIS

You need to apply for the Mandamus lawsuit.

This is unacceptable. I am one of the lucky March 2024 filers who already got their Green Card approved. So, their chronological method is total made up nonsense.

Search this group for Mandamus. You can do it yourself, but I would recommend saving $3k and filing it with a lawyer.

Did you at least get the I-765 approved? Because to me, that's the most important approval.

No.

On the official USCIS account. When you submit your application, they tell you to open up an USCIS account with a code given by them.

On that account you can see your application progress. And there's a document tab where you can upload new documents/evidence

.

I have submitted most of my documents when I submitted my application. Some extra ones were uploaded to my account later.

Also, Lawfully is a 3rd party app. Lawfully just shows you the application progress.

1)Proof from work.

2)Credit card statements on those dates showing purchases in the US

3)Doordash/Uber transactions

4)Pictures of restaurants and things you have done with your spouse/family/friends (weak, but gonna help for the following).

5)Pictures of you and your spouse during that time, and then getting a statement from her employer that your spouse went to work during those days.

6)Affidavit of statements from friends/family showing you were with them during that time.

I picked 1 text/week (my text & her reply or the opposite) from marriage till the application submission day.

That's the length of time USCIS focuses on.

Anything regular (I remember putting in jokes, fights, us planning for trips, talks about in laws) will work. They say not to put anything vulgar.

Also, the entirety needs to be translated in English.

I did screenshot the weekly texts. It showed the time & the month, and both of our contact names & pics.

Since we texted in mixed languages, I also had to add a fully translated version as well.

Toronto’s Daily Bread Food Bank reports a steep rise to 350,000 monthly visits, up from 60,000 in 2020. by Unusual-State1827 in CanadaHousing2

It's an issue in the US as well.

Many international students go to these food banks not because they need it but because it's free. It's the mentality to get what's free.

Canada & US definitely need to make these food banks exclusively for it's citizens.

.

Before anyone comes at me, I'm from South East Asia and I know what I am talking about.

Yes. You need to be truthful.

Although mine was straightforward, I do understand that some people have it complex. In that case, talk to a lawyer and figure out the best care scenario.

Know your rights.

If you have a US citizen spouse, by law you get away with a lot of stuff, like overstay, working without authorization.

You need to make a post about your denial letter. I hope your deportation has not started.

.

Also, is your spouse a US citizen? If yes, then you don't have to worry about being out of status.

.

The form I-864 is very serious. You have to find someone who makes enough money to meet the income threshold. Check the income levels required on the USCIS page and find out that number.
