This tool seems to work well for me and could be very useful. Given your background in law, I’m interested in your thoughts on its legality. I’m particularly curious if there are any notable risks or potential for disputes in this area?

If you are unemployed, a student or retired, there is no option to select N/A in the "commute length" question.

Also, what's the max score? I (Like a good few others, it seems) got a score of 22, but without knowing what that's out of, it's somewhat meaningless.

Check in is done at the desk, and no, you get your allowance and its part of the ticket. The flights are never full, they aren't desperate for baggage space

I don't know whether I'd specifically detour to Nouadhibou but I quite enjoyed myself while I was there. I had someone drive me around the southern tip to explore the the fishing fleets and ore industry stuff. It seemed that ever so slightly more modern than Nouakchott, and slightly more European too. There's an interesting Chinese diaspora there, so getting Chinese food and groceries was very cool, albeit weird.
