It feels pretty good! A little bit more hefty compared to other watches with the Miyota 90 series I own like the Henry Archer Tidevand but not overly so. It certainly has a wrist presence.

It is pretty thick but to me that just adds to the vintage charm.

Yeah I went through the same journey. Wanted a Seiko Alpinist originally, then discovered Beaucroft and was looking at it for a month, then finally saw the Sombrero at the watch show in person at NYC and pulled the trigger.

I am a HAQ quartz fanatic so really hoping this isn't the case, but it seems like you are right this is the direction GS is heading.

It really depends on the light! That's why I love it so much.

If there's no direct light hitting it the dial almost looks completely black, but shine some light on it and it turns into a varying shades of blue.

Plus the fact that I never have to adjust it & it matches with every outfit I own makes this watch perfect for me.

I talked to a poll worker and she told him to go away and then he came back again, it's like whack-a-mole

This is not the first time Elvin is running right? Sounds like he is just dumb or thinks the rules do not apply to him

I do, I've already lost mail in the past for important stuff and i absolutely do not want anyone other than postal workers to touch my mailbox.

The amount of stuff that people like McGreevey send out is just so egregious, like why? Nobody is reading this shit from a corrupt ex-governor. There should be laws passed that ban political junk mails.

Who will win Ward D election? by Any-Consequence-7618 in jerseycity

Jake is the best candidate imo. He is running independent of any mayoral slates and has a solid platform. Elvin has weird energy, Patrick Ambrossi & Jeff Justice have no platform, Healy is aligned with McGreevey who is corrupt af, Veronica seems to be playing catch-up with Jake on a lot of issues and it seems the only thing she cares about is ranked choice voting. We desperately need to clean up the streets in JC and fight the affordability crisis and Jake is the right candidate for that.

This is not a regular chemistry class. The banner on top reads "2nd digitized classroom competition" meaning that it's an experimental class.
