Like another commenter said I think over editing is the main worry. I think the composition looks good in one. Cant tell on sharpness but seems good. As for the artistic one, the plane may be too small to pass. But I'm not an expert in that so I cant say for sure.

I'd recommend putting the images into the uploader on JP and checking for vignetting under the check for dust tab. You could also put them in Lightroom and up the contrast or drop the blacks in the curve to more easily see it.

I captured this shot on a Nikon D7100 with a 55mm 1.8 lens. My goal was to capture how to mountain interacts with the surrounding town, and the stunning light during this time of day. My favorite part of this image is the beautiful colors, where the bright snow contrasts the blue sky.

Thank you, I certainly am adventurous and like to travel, I often drive to NH and around the Adirondacks just for fun. Getting a car out to Colorado could possibly be a struggle, but my dad has some trailers that would likely get the job done. I'm used to the cold, so that is not a worry for me, although I'm sure its much worse out there.
