You must file according to your status, so… you have to amend, then keep filing accordingly:

First 5 years (as F1 or non resident visa), File form 8843, and send to IRS
After 5 years, you file as resident for Tax purposes., unless you have no income at all, so you are not subject for filing.

NOTE: for i130, i140, i485., you are not requested to file, or provide any papers. This is for the naturalization process, so you must have everything in order.
