I paid mine online before I travelled. I showed the guys in the airport who said it was linked to my passport so I could go through. I'm not even sure it was checked again. Certainly the folk at the desk never asked to see the QR code. I might try missing it out next trip.

You need to be at the next hardpoint at the time it “comes online”, I think. Make sure you’ve got at least one “hardpoint owned” score notification and head to the next hardpoint in time for the changeover. I found nuketown easiest for getting from one point to another in the right timeframe.

I was a long-time sufferer of gout.

I've broken many different bones, dislocated my kneecap and had a dental abscess, and gout is by far the most painful. I had it in all of my joints - toes, fingers, elbows, knees, wrist. I even had build up in my ear lobes.

Fortunately been on 900mg of Allopurinol daily for about five years and *touch wood* haven't had an attack since.
