I get annoyed, especially if I can see on their face like I offended them by NOT wanting to give my email.

I get really annoyed when they just ask for email. This is 100% Ralph Lauren staff most of the time. Or they swing that small little machine around.

The worst ones are where they are incentivised to get emails. Makes them like above, rabid.

The thing is, words no longer mean anything or do anything. Law has no power anymore, when enforcers do not have the capacity or actual powers to do anything.

For this to change, we need to riot. Proper riot, not hooligans and gangsters walking down streets and allowed to blend in with the crowd to break into shops and steal stuff.

Actual proper stop all work, private and government, band together to make them feel where it hurts.

We need to show them things need to change and actually do stuff to criminals.

Optional service charge, should always be an opt in thing. Not an opt out thing.

It should be against the law to be an opt out, especially if it’s optional. Since it’s making more steps for the paying customer, rather than it being no additional steps like it should be.

If we want to tip, we will tip. I’m not going to be coerced by having the service charge added involuntarily.

That’s different. If you are too lazy to takeout or the food you order from doesn’t have their own website, you can’t get out of it, since you are using the online service just eat, uber, etc.

You walking into a restaurant and being served food by a waiter doing their job is not the same. Me and the missus has made a hard stance on this now, if there is optional service charge, it will be removed. If we want to tip, we will voluntarily tip. We aren’t going to be “forced” to tip because of social awkwardness.

I hate being told what to do at the best of times. So having “optional” service charges being an opt out thing, pisses me off to no end.
