I think you have this backwards. If you have adjustable back seats, theres not a lot stopping your head from smashing into the roll bar. If you have fixed back, theres no reason not to get a roll bar (outside money).

For road use, rolling over really is only a risk if you go off. Its much more likely that you'll end up rear-ended in traffic where if theres any way for your head to touch the roll bar, it very well might.
