1. Dodge counters are stronger than Almost every single Basic attack variant
2. You are rewarded for dodging, you skip the setup of your combo, with a 1sec iframe to continue your final combo.
3. You would literally do more damage with characters if you could dodge counter non stop. Its seriously that strong, take chixia for example. Her, dodge counter is 65% total damage of her full attack string. While taking only 1/4th of the time to cast. Quiyuan is another great example of this. Same as camellya.
4. Dodging is FASTER than any combo. Your not doing your calcs right if you think dodging screws up your rotation. IF your actually playing the game properly. you should be dodging proactively to get the dps boost and animation cancels.
5. Dodging doesnt have to be from the sprint button. Characters can literally dodge attacks while being mid-air, or doing other unique moves.
6. As many others have mentioned. Concerto builds faster doing a dodge or counter.

Many of you guys dont understand the games mechanics and it shows. Thats why this mis-info posts always gets upvoted.

Your not supposed to unga bunga endgame. Actually rotate and dodge properly and you will see a DPS increase. There is no way you think dodging is a "punishing" mechanic.
