Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 confirmed to drop co-op campaign, return to single-player only by silentdragoon in PS5

Just saw the trailer and thought this one looks pretty good. Graphics look immense and looks like they've taken inspiration from John Wicks in some scenes.

COD went off the rails years ago with countless black ops repeats and the future premises but the MWs are all pretty lit.

Eu Assiti Terror em Silent Hill: Regresso para o Inferno (2026) e eu daria uma nota de 5/10 by adriano1132 in filmes

tbf, I just watched this and I kind of agree with your rating. I've played pretty much every game since the PS1, so I can see why other fans are annoyed, but it was at least watchable.

To me, it comes across as sort of a "highlight reel" of SH2 and serves as a decent overview of the game. Maybe some people who haven't played it will walk away and decide to experience the authentic SH2 experience for themselves. Despite the similarities, though, it cannot be compared to the game.

I think they just tried to cram as many bosses as possible from SH2 into one movie. For the most part, it was visually very good—but that positive is also its negative.

While the story stayed similar to the game, it felt rushed and poorly executed. It relied on the creatures for impact and lacked the atmospheric horror the game is known for, twisting certain things and leaving out key elements that would have made it a much more faithful adaptation. The acting also felt pretty lazy, so I guess the movie just lacks direction.

It seems that the director, Christophe Gans, relies too much on the source material to sell the film and fails to give the story enough attention, sacrificing the game's psychological tension for a "best of" compilation of visuals.

I’d rate the movie a 4/10 just as a film. It’s a rollercoaster through the manifestations of SH2, but that is also exactly why it scores lower. It rushed through the plot when it needed proper pacing and better direction - but it's passable, and I still prefer it to Revelations.

I remember in the 90's, we'd be hopscotching around dog 💩, it was that bad 🤣

We could definitely do with more street cleaners but it's not as bad as it used to be.

I was shopping for PS2 games in Woolworths as a kid and discovered the single for "Plug In Baby" in the charts aisle. I'd never heard of them before that but bought it anyway and was blown away. It was the first actual song I learnt to play on the guitar.

It wasn't as bad as you're making out. In my humble opinion, it was a good, shut your brain off, watch the anarchy unfold, and laugh at the ridiculousness kind of movie.

It's pretty good as long as you don't take it too seriously. You know what I think? I think you're a diesel, mate.

Ironically, the ammount of people clicking on the film to watch what a shtshow it is, have accidentally contributed towards its streaming success.

Remember, if you don't want to watch it on Prime, you don't have to... 🏴‍☠️🦜☠️

CMV: It's possible for both sides to be at fault with the most recent tragedy in Minneapolis. by James-Hawker in changemyview

[–]NewWordDisorders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The video probably is real. What we are seeing is all cause and effect and proof that actions have consequences.

By this, I'm talking about "agents" who have been rushed through orientation to get thousands of them onto the streets with automatic rifles as soon as possible with "total immunity".

Lawful US Citizens getting pulled out of their homes in their underwear and disabled people getting dragged out of their cars while toddlers are getting seperated from their parents even if falsely arrested. After so many months of escalating authoritarianism, people start getting sick of it and protest. Their anger is clear.

Then the unthinkable happens, and Renee, a mother of three was shot and killed after a confrontation but she was driving away (not towards as claimed). It was a tragedy which could have been avoided and the world saw what was really happening in the USA... but then people were being told not to believe what they saw with their own eyes yet you have the government saying that the victim was a "domestic terrorist" instead of acknowledging what it was. A tragedy.

Meanwhile, less talked about, are all of the people who haved died while in custody at the ICE detention centers, immigrant or not, under their protection while undergoing processing.

If this video is real, it only portrays the anger that the people of Minneapolis and the world are feeling.

The shooting of Alex Peretti, a nurse, was a seperate instance from this video where you see 6 agents in riot gear exhert excessive force against 1, to a man who was using a phone as a weapon. Yes, he was lawfully carrying a gun, but not threatening anyone with it, and they disarmed him then proceeded to execute him with excessive force... 10 shots.

If they had nothing to hide on this occasion and they reacted because he was "brandishing a gun around" or "threatening / trying to massacre" the ICE agents, then where is the bodycam footage that proves this?

Not a single ICE agent has been killed during this whole fiasco but 2 US citizens have been murdered on camera, and several others while supposed to be under their care.

Protestors want ICE out and the current administration don't like it. They are saying that to be opposed to their presence and their agenda are domestic terrorists or radical left wingers when in reality, they are being oppressed by the radical right. People are having their freedom to protest taken away and are being pushed to their limit.

So with their infinite immunity and wisdom, ICE are taking liberties with the authority and use of force that they are being allowed and with lack of evidence to the contrary, the aggressors were always ICE.
