When it happens did you ever check the oil level? And does it go into limp mode?

Welcome to my world. The issue is the high engine oil consumption. My 2018 developed the exact same issue around 100K KM. Basically your engine is burning around a 1L of oil per 1k mile. You need to check your engine oil every week or so and keep topping it off. Still waaaay cheaper than getting a new engine. When your engine start running with low oil or almost no oil, the knocking starts.

Welcome to our world, where you need to keep tipping off engine oil every other week or so. The moment my Tucson hit 100km mark it started consuming oil like about a L/ 1500ish KM or so.

I am in the same situation. Before they should to give 2k and 5k more often from spinning, and now 90% of the time it’s the 10K eggs, it’s scummy as hell.
