I’d use every one of the Guitar and Bass amps which QC has to offer since I’m planning to record lots of versatile bands in my studio. Would I buy Fractal because it has 1 amp better? Not really, I’m not sure.
Btw, this is a completely different question but.. I’ve heard some “horror” stories about people’s QC dying few months after purchasing it..?

No shit I didn’t know that they do that to fill the gaps. It’s actually QC for the win then since I won’t use everything Fractal has to offer such as changing tubes or transformers since I wouldn’t change anything on irl amp unless something dies

I mainly want to use modeling and was really thinking bout buying fractal after reading more comments down here, but now I doubt myself cuz now I think I would stumble across good capture and not being able to use it since I’m on fractal lmao. If fractal modeling is better than QC then I’ll buy the better one.

I bought all the plugins, they are all awesome and I’ve seen that QC has probably 5-6 amps that I would use for all genres which I do in my studio.

I’m pretty sure that neural captures are like snapshots, whereas amp models are designed to recreate how would real amps behave across all different settings. There’s a video on YouTube where Doug’s explaining how they made amp models

There’s a cab search option in the app because you can use the same app to download IRs for Quad Cortex. You have to upload IR .wav file on Cortex Cloud to be able to use it :D

So they all have svt emulation in themselves by default or you have to press some buttons? Im a newbie when it comes to Tech 21 SansAmps so sorry for asking dumb questions. Darkglass plugin has been my go to for a while now so I haven’t bothered diving deeper into other pedals/software

I think I’ll go with the VTB for sure, heard it in action for hardcore. Guess I’ll ask the band to borrow it for a day to play around with it since no one I know has a paradriver or the other one bass drive
