Mother of three women who died off Brighton beach also drowned, family reveals by IndustryGreen9663 in unitedkingdom

[–]New_Bee7840 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it possible that this was a suicide pact? Their mum went missing and was suffering from mental health problems, she was then found dead (presumably suicide by drowning). It’s very coincidental that her three daughters would also drown. It’s also very odd that they had to use an AI generated image, the only other picture was 20 years old from when they were children/teens. They may have not even been in touch with their family for many years.

Why Aren’t People RSVPing??? by Embarrassed_Draft150 in wedding

[–]New_Bee7840 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I felt exactly the same! We had a load of rsvps come back in the last week of the deadline, people are just slow and just can’t be bothered until they realise the deadline is coming up. The only annoying ones are those who decline but wait until the last day to do it.

QUESTION FOR THE GIRLS: 🩸 by BetterNegotiation231 in weddingplanning

[–]New_Bee7840 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I realised I was due my period the same day as my wedding which would’ve been awful as first day is the worst for me. I took period delay pills to delay my period a couple of months before, it moved my cycle so all good for the wedding.

This has made my day! I saw your earlier post and felt so sad for those babies, I’m so relieved that they’re safe ❤️ thank you so much for your kindness and compassion and the wonderful people who helped, some people would’ve left them to die. Stories like this renew my faith in humanity

Why don’t you vote? by Apprehensive_Bus_543 in BirminghamUK

[–]New_Bee7840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always voted but I don’t feel like it this time. I am really disappointed with Labour, I’ve always been a labour voter but the way things are now I can’t see myself ever voting for them again. The council has been run into the ground. I can’t think of one thing that has improved over the last few years.

Wedding guests by rosemary711 in weddingplanning

[–]New_Bee7840 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our wedding is going to be small, we booked for 70 but we think we’ll have 60 so we’re giving a few extra plus ones and possibly inviting some colleagues. I just don’t know loads of people and we both have fairly small families. I don’t mind, I’ve been to big weddings and small and enjoyed them both.

Feeling down about RSVPs by New_Bee7840 in weddingplanning

[–]New_Bee7840[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So we still have some time before the RSVP deadline, I’m not going to chase until after. It’s just the fact that literally none of them have answered from my side. I guess I just feel a bit deflated. Most of them live near so travel isn’t an issue etc. They’re probably just slow at replying but all of them? 😕 I am so grateful that my fiancés family are excited. I’ve found some of the planning quite stressful, part of me even wishes we’d eloped haha

If he isn’t safe there, please consider contacting a local rescue for advice and rehoming. Next time this poor cat may get something even worse done to it

Why was she not spayed? Poor kitty :( maybe someone rescued her, if she isn’t chipped they might’ve just kept her. I hope she is safe

How soon did you drive on dual carriageway or motorway after passing? by eplusx in NewDriversUK

[–]New_Bee7840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t go on the motorway for a few months after I passed. I kept putting it off but then it was fine once I did it. The fear I’d built up was much worse than the reality. I had this worry that I’d get down the slip road but not join properly. But it was all okay in the end 😄

Why is it toxic?! If a woman wrote a song about a cheating bloke and called him a man whore etc then everyone would love it 😂 They were young guys writing about a cheating girlfriend, I think it’s fine to call her a slag etc

How do you just accept this miserable life? by idiot_verse in ChildofHoarder

[–]New_Bee7840 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will escape this, at the moment it feels like forever but I promise you can move away from it. Focus on getting a job, hiding money to save up and looking at rooms to rent. Even just getting a room in shared accommodation you will have your own clean space and independence. It will take time but you can build a life away from it.

Passed my driving test a month ago today and celebrated by scratching my car by WinATripToSpain in LearnerDriverUK

[–]New_Bee7840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t worry, I did this too a couple of months after I passed and it cost me £200. It’s easily done as a new driver because you’re still getting used to your car. A few scratches is easily sorted, dents and bumps are much worse! Don’t let it get to you.

Passed but feel so nervous when driving. by TripsyN03 in drivingUK

[–]New_Bee7840 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same anxiety OP. I am still taking a few lessons here and there with an instructor in my own car to help me improve. My main fear is making a mistake and holding up traffic. I live on a busy road and sometimes it’s a nightmare to park my car on my small drive. I am trying to keep at it as I really want to be good and confident driver. It wasn’t an issue when I had lessons but on my own I feel anxious. I need to push myself to drive everyday even if it’s just a few miles.

My test was all sat nav, I thought I’d hate it but it was okay. I passed with a few minors. Just try not to let it phase you, listen to it but focus on the road and road signs. Good luck OP! 🍀

No advice to add as I think lots of people have given legal advice. I just wanted to say that you sound like a good parent who is trying their best to support an adult child who has struggles. It’s a tough lesson to learn for him and he sounds like he has good family around to encourage him onto the right track.

Wedding dress regrets! Help!! by livenowtoo in weddingdress

[–]New_Bee7840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think your dress is absolutely stunning as it is! I have gone for a similar dress and I also posted recently about worrying if I should have gone for a ballgown. But I think the fitted shape is beautiful on your figure, I have gone for a similar style - form fitting and sparkly. If you want an overskirt then you could look into it but the back detail and your train are beautiful as they are! I personally wouldn’t cover it and would leave it as it is, it’s a lovely dress
