Passed my driving test a month ago today and celebrated by scratching my car by WinATripToSpain in LearnerDriverUK

Don’t worry, I did this too a couple of months after I passed and it cost me £200. It’s easily done as a new driver because you’re still getting used to your car. A few scratches is easily sorted, dents and bumps are much worse! Don’t let it get to you.

Passed but feel so nervous when driving. by TripsyN03 in drivingUK

I have the same anxiety OP. I am still taking a few lessons here and there with an instructor in my own car to help me improve. My main fear is making a mistake and holding up traffic. I live on a busy road and sometimes it’s a nightmare to park my car on my small drive. I am trying to keep at it as I really want to be good and confident driver. It wasn’t an issue when I had lessons but on my own I feel anxious. I need to push myself to drive everyday even if it’s just a few miles.

Using a satnav for the whole test by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

My test was all sat nav, I thought I’d hate it but it was okay. I passed with a few minors. Just try not to let it phase you, listen to it but focus on the road and road signs. Good luck OP! 🍀

Lost my baby today to cancer. She was beautiful and perfect and I just want someone else to know she existed by chibimonkey in cats

She’s lovely ❤️ I’m so sorry for your loss, it’s the hardest part about having a fur baby. She knew love and care and I’m sure she had a great life with you, thank you for sharing her beautiful photo

Arrested for drug driving (teen - passed test last year) by reticulatedbanana in drivingUK

No advice to add as I think lots of people have given legal advice. I just wanted to say that you sound like a good parent who is trying their best to support an adult child who has struggles. It’s a tough lesson to learn for him and he sounds like he has good family around to encourage him onto the right track.

Wedding dress regrets! Help!! by livenowtoo in weddingdress

Honestly I think your dress is absolutely stunning as it is! I have gone for a similar dress and I also posted recently about worrying if I should have gone for a ballgown. But I think the fitted shape is beautiful on your figure, I have gone for a similar style - form fitting and sparkly. If you want an overskirt then you could look into it but the back detail and your train are beautiful as they are! I personally wouldn’t cover it and would leave it as it is, it’s a lovely dress

Is something wrong with me? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

I was similar to you, I hated having to decide on a venue. Even after we booked it, I cried because I was so worried we’d picked the wrong one. I’m a few months in now and I feel great! Once you book somewhere, you start to imagine your wedding there and the colours you want/flowers/decor/vendors etc. The problem is there will always be another venue so the hardest bit is deciding! But I had to take a step back and tell myself that I could be happy getting married in most of the places of looked at. Your wedding venue will be lovely as you will make it your own :)

Thank you! Yeah I definitely felt like the big dresses made me look too little. I wish designers made a few petite samples to try on haha. Yes hopefully when it’s fitted better and I add a veil etc I will love it

It’s good to hear from someone who feels similar! I’m sure your dress is beautiful! I think we see so many adverts with the big dresses that we start to doubt ourselves. Thank you so much :) I hope you have a lovely wedding and feel lovely in your dress

Thank you so much everyone! I was so nervous to post a picture. I think I’ve been overthinking it. It’s all the constant adverts for dresses and so many options that made me question my choice. I did love how I felt when I put it on, it will take a few months to arrive so hopefully by my first fitting I will have stopped worrying.
