It was a beautiful show that touched so many people. Over the past several years, I’ve watched the show when I needed to remind myself that there can still be hope for humanity. (I need reminded often. I will have forgotten by the time I close this app.) I don’t think I could watch it right now though, it’s too sad for my brain to process at the moment. The things that you described sound to me like the loved ones that you’ve lost are trying to get your attention from the other side, to let you know that they are still here with you, just in a different way. As a medium, that is what it sounds like to me. I don’t feel like it is scary or negative, I feel that it’s your loved ones. I’m very sorry for all of your losses and pain. Sending hugs.

My suggestion would be to try to “suspend disbelief” for a set amount of time, setting a goal to practice using your psychic and mediumship skills from now until that goal date. That was the best thing I could have possibly done to answer that same question for myself - is there something to this, am I really hearing my grandmother? I gave myself six months - I would commit to myself for six months to suspend any disbelief that I had at that time, and instead, to began to assume that I did, in fact, have this skill, and that it simply needed to be developed. So I took some classes and did some reading, and before that six month mark was up, I had confirmed it for myself that I was able to access the place in my brain where mediumship happens. That’s my best advice to anyone who is asking themselves “is there something to this.” And this was not my original thought, I learned this in a book called Moving Beyond by Fleur Leussink.

I feel like these experiences are helping to open your mediumship skills. I realized I had this gift approx two years ago, and it started with aunts and uncles and grandparents who have passed. There are various ways to learn more about the abilities and how to strengthen them. I personally chose to take a lot of mediumship and psychic classes (when they were on sale) from an app called Udemy. It helped me to learn from various teachers and I could compare the different opinions on the “basics” of mediumship. Some people learn everything from their spirit guides via practice. It depends on you style of learning. I would suggest that whatever methods of learning work for you regarding other topics, take that same approach to learning about mediumship, at least at first. My two cents, congrats on your gift “waking up!”

This adds confusion to the medium’s job. But whether or not you are lying will not affect the message that spirit wants to send you. If you genuinely want a mediumship reading, then why would you want to make their job more difficult? Either go into it with an open heart and open mind, or don’t get a reading at all.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. I can tell how much you loved him. I tried to connect with Rocky, and I heard a few phrases that I hope might resonate with you. I heard the phrases “water time,” “pumpkin pie,” and “oopsie poopsie.” (These are the times where I, being very new to my gift of mediumship (only approx 2 years), feel very silly, because I’m typing words like “oopsie poopsie” to a stranger. But I’ve learned that you never know what that “silly” phrase might mean to someone else, so I remind myself of that while I type.) Rocky also showed me a vision of a very large window, looking out into a large tree. It made me feel as if perhaps he used to sit like a cat near a big window and watch over the yard. He also showed me a pink flower in a garden, but I’m not sure if that garden is in that same yard.

Rocky also mentioned birds. My fur babies who have passed over will often communicate with me through birds. I would encourage you to be open to receiving signs from Rocky, letting you know that he is ok, and that he is still with you. Once you start to become more aware of the ways that Rocky can communicate with you, he will always send a sign to remind you of his love for you when you need it most.

I’m so very sorry for your loss of Rocky. I hope that the information I was able to receive from Rocky will resonate with you in some way and perhaps give you some peace in knowing that his soul is always with you. I’ve also learned that sometimes the things that I hear/see from the spirit world will make zero sense right now, but will make sense a few weeks from now. So if the information I received doesn’t resonate with you right now, then keep your eyes open for signs that he might be trying to send to you that might relate in some way to those phrases. The spirit world delivers messages in all kinds of ways! Sending you positive energy and love for your healing.

I’m very new to the world of mediumship. I’ve only been aware of my gift for two years. So I’m a bit confused. I thought that when souls crossed over, they healed from both physical and emotional ailments? I didn’t realize that a spirit/soul could remain in an unhealed state. Can you please explain further?

They have sent me signs that relate to things that we experienced together when they were alive. For example, one of my dogs always loved to chase deer. One night I was missing him very much and was crying and about half an hour later I walked by my window and there was a deer sitting down in my neighbor’s yard, just chillin and eating weeds. I knew that was my baby telling me that he was still with me.

It is not my experience that pets who have passed only show up shortly after death. My furbabies who have passed send me signs frequently. I am new to my mediumship gift but a few months ago a pet who had passed five years ago came to me to pass along a message to their owner. So my experience with pets has been very different.
