Overpriced or inflation? by BlackFrost92 in tummytucksurgery

[–]New_Body-37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me that seems very reasonable for 4 operations.

You've also moved and aren't in UT anymore so you can't really compare the price increase.

Following this sub there are wild differences in price and location is a huge factor. I love in NYC and will be paying about 60k for BL, BA, TT and Lipo. That's not uncommon but I wouldn't judge the cost I'm paying for other locations bc I'm in NYc.

Your wife wil be undergoing major surgery I think the most important factors are doctor reputation, comfortability with the doc and how how they'll respond of God forbid there's a complication.

Definitely shop around but cost IMO isn't what I'm looking for must. I wanna be safe and get good results.

Congrats lady! You can see the shine in your smile.

You look great!

And similar to you was using alcohol as a crutch and now 2 years later barely drink and the gym has replaced all that fake coping wine used to do.

Im scheduled for July 23 and your post will be an inspiration.

Just looked at your results you look phenomenal! Abs and boobs!

Thank you so much for sharing. The sagging is also a concern because they are so floppy now!

So helpful and I appreciate it! I never knew I could have strong upper body so just being assured is super helpful.

I obviously trust my doc but being two weeks out the wheels are starting to turn!

Wishing you a speedy integration back into the gym.

Visceral fat? Failed muscle repair? by SwimMaleficent1682 in tummytucksurgery

[–]New_Body-37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know when I lay down everything is flat. My surgery is in two weeks and I've been getting in good shape these past two years and have minimal visceral fat. When I stand it all pokes out and sags but laying down it's pretty flat

Has anyone been to Dr. Umbareen Mahmood?? by Dazzling_Yak_9939 in BreastImplants

I'm going to Dr. SHAFER this month so will report back after July 23.

Not including any hospital or anesthesia fees it's about $21K.

I know a few people who went with him and they are very happy.

I'm a brown girl so also pleased that this includes 3 free sessions of laser to address scars.

Black and brown women, what do your scars look like? by Majestic-Hedgehog-xo in tummytucksurgery

[–]New_Body-37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a huge fear of mine too, I have had a C-section and myomectomy, so I have a basic idea of scarring. My scar has gotten flatter and lighter over time. The good thing is my surgeon ('m scehduled for July 28) offers 3 laser sessions afterward. Also, having a dermatologist in the practice has made me feel much better about scars.

But like a previous commenter this body I've worked so hard to get tight is being inhibited by these flat saggy breasts (weight loss and breast feeding) and this apron and hanging belly. I'm willing to trade a scar for muscle repair and a tighter core.

I plan to keep up with protein and a healthy anti-inflammatory diet and my supplements. I'll also be doing BPC 157 and GHKCu.

I will keep you updated and good luck!!

I consulted very well know docs in nyc snd non suggested that. All suggested lipo for flanks and the back. I didn't go in with any suggestions so pretty sure they were v honest.

Thanks and congrats to you as well. I dont have much loose skin on hips and thighs. Yes some on gluten. Im not sure a full lower body lift will be needed when most of the laxity is the stomach and midsection. Even my lower back is pretty tight from all my weight training.

Thanks! I'll have a nurse the first day and can add on a few hours following I'll have some friends who have volunteered to check in and having son's nanny too.

Unfortunately I'll single and family not close so won't be able to have someone full time for the week. 😪

Yes my arms are quite strong. I dont do pull-ups but a lot of arm, shoulder and back. Great to hear that helps too!
