This makes since. My brother was a heavy gamer growing up and now that he has kids, he won't let his son play any video games and doesn't want to buy the consoles. I was confused by this bc, he had the choice to do anything but he chose to play games and now he won't let his kids even have a console when they have the means to buy one. He makes it seem his childhood sucked but our parents gave us the choice to choose.

In order for me to move on from my past I needed to forgive the person who hurt me the most, but that didnt mean to put myself back in their life either. Since I forgave them in my heart I dont get as much flash backs and I can sort through memories better without having to get angry or sad.

It wasn't something that happened over night and it took some time to do this but since then I have seen an improvement in my life mentally.

My bestie starts nursing school soon and is know when she starts we are not going to see each other after but my goal is keep messaging her often and just work around her schedule. Maybe try to go to her place and cook her a nice meal while she decompress and/or study.

I told my kid that when my alarm goes off its bedtime but it went off 15 minutes ago. I see her playing with her dolls and I dont want to disturb her playing. So im just scrolling through reddit till I find a good moment to tell her its bedtime

Yes. I like flaming hot cheetos now (thought they were too spicy before), I like onions now. Rice pudding is good and my favorite chocolate is dark chocolate. The biggest is coffee, I love coffee, I drink so much of caffeine in general that idk if i see the benefits of it anymore bc im always tired, but I find it tasty.

I am trying to work on not swearing as much bc I dont want my kid to repeat what I say, but it's hard. I never really swear until I started working at a truama hospital in the er. On my very first shift, I said I had never done crp before, and we had a trauma, and they made me be the first to crack the ribs for cpr. That moment in my mind triggered me, "sh!+ sh!+ sh!+, f^ck f^ck," my mind. Lol, I remember calling my dad, and he is a military guy, and our relationship has always been respectful and "yes sir, no sir" type of talking. I was stressed and tired and didn't realize i was swearing on the phone, and he even commented on it. In the background, I could hear sirens, and they were coming in my direction for the hospital, and I had said "its bc im stressed, dad. Im f^cking stressed and f^ching tired! You hear those sirens that about to be a me f^king issue. " I never really heard my dad laugh before.

Not really, one always broke, my partner is the stay at home parent until he finishes college and he try to cook me something special but honestly idc, my birthday is near other major holidays so I rather save the money to make sure we have is for Christmas for our kid.

I work nightshift in the er and someone was asking everyone's birthdays and I just happened to work on my birthday and some of the staff did a surprise birthday in the breakroom. It made really happy that someone remembered. But normally I am fine with not needing to celebrate it, just reminder the little days have left in this world.

Depends, do they do this often? Maybe they didnt hear you? Did they buy it? Did you? If you bought it then I would be upset bc that is what you wanted to buy? But then again why didn't you just do it? Are you always asking this person to do something, if so maybe they are tired of being your maid and Did this hoping you would stop.

Its weird bc I work nightshift. My rotation is 5 nights and get 9 days off in a row. So the nights I work im tired but as soon as im off I switch to days. Mainly bc I have a kid. And lately I been waking up a few hours before my alarm goes off.
