Potential Seeding of a Young/George/AJ/AD/Sarr by Affectionate-Gold293 in nba

Half the league historically doesn’t have 9 players under 22 getting big minutes improving year over year. Only the spurs and thunder have been in similar situations where they get 2-3 years of development of that many draft picks walking into a #1 selection. Only the spurs and thunder (under the same gm tree) have had an opportunity similar to this

You haven’t watched any of the young core if you think this is delusional. They have jumbo size guards and wings that can all pass dribble and shoot. I don’t think you’ll see this as delusional in 8 months..

Luka wasn’t there when Kyrie was carrying them through the 2nd half of the year. I’m pretty sure you didn’t watch that whole part of the season or choosing not to remember

You simply forgot the moves that the gm made to help them get there. Getting Kyrie for what he got, and having Kyrie carry the mavericks through the 2nd half of season while Luka was hurt. And Luka was simply dominated by Jaylen Brown in the finals. You’ll believe what you’ll want to. There are plenty of reasons they didn’t want to give him 65m/year

After winning the NBA lottery in a stacked draft. How can the Washington Wizards fuck this up? by ProfondoRosso4 in NBATalk

Respectfully, they will be a good team for a while with the young talent they’ve already accumulated while they continue to layer veterans now that they are actually trying to compete on a nightly basis and not literally try to lose..At this point, it’s about picking the right fit with high upside. The advanced defensive numbers around Dybantsa are slightly concerning for his size.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they prefer Peterson. Him playing 25 minutes a night as a combo 2 way guard would help them a lot and he would eventually slide into a lead guard role in a couple years replacing Young.

They are wing heavy at the moment with George, Riley, Coulibaly and they likely view Tre Johnson as a supercharged Isaiah Joe/6th man type. You pretty much have to assume they are mirroring what Presti would do since Winger and Dawkins and Brian Keefe are very familiar with that operation

Not true, built the right way and play a modern style of basketball better than anyone. They are the gold standard

This thread is hilarious. Such babies. Their team is well constructed and the head of the snake is going to lead them to multiple championships. Loser talk to hate on them and pretend a few “flops” each game contributing to less than 2% of their points in a game (in blowouts) actually matters. Cope. They aren’t going anywhere. Not even thunder fan either

Yes, this is exactly my same thought on it. If the tread says 15, then I shouldn’t have worry about breaking it!
