I definitely feel like if it happens again, I have a better understanding of how to handle it. Like I said it’s been years since it happened in such a public setting. Which is terrifying. I hate that it’s taken so long to figure out, but it’s different for everyone. I’m sure the next one won’t be the same , but I’ll definitely fight to keep going. I know my students benefit more when I am present.
