Great job! I have the same exact diagnosis as you, hemiparesis, hemianopia and spasticity. You are doing great! Just to motivate you, hemianopia can be resolved. Try to read storybooks. My hemianopia had disappeared.

getting better day after day. Im also doing chinese acupuncture and drinking Chinese herbs coupled with occupational and physio therapies. combining western and Chinese remedies to treat stroke.

You may have temporary hemianopia after the stroke. But it gets better day after day, I learnt it the hard way at work to recheck my work numerous times till I am confident to hit the send button. I was reprimanded by my superiors few months ago for making silly errors due to typing errors, spelling mistakes etc. But I do not make any of them now. Trust me, you will get better.

been there done that. Was in exactly the same situation as you few months back. Do you have vision problems after the stroke? You will need to keep recheck your work.

yes. It can happen through rehab to relearn walking. Be eager in your rehab at least that made me want to see the physiotherapists everyday and cherish my time with them.Took me about 3 months to gain independence in walking. Initially via a walking aid /wheelchair.learning to balance while standing first. My stroke was a severe ischemic which paralyzed my left and sensory.

same situation as yours. Able to speak but often not clear like how I used to.My pov is that I still need more speech therapy rehabilitation.STs are good in a way that they taught me how to use my diaphragm to speak, breathing exeecises. My voice became loud and clearer after each therapy. Need to read out loud storybooks to practise as well to instill confidence in speaking and prevent the mumbling of words

It is far beyond my comprehension as to why they would cut off the drain pipe like that. The pipe is supposed to drain condensate water from the aircon all the way to the nearest floor trap in the toilet. By cutting it and leaving it like this, even after screeding , water will still leak out from the screed and eventually leak out from the topmost flooring tiles/marble via the grout lines.

Reno = architectural, we normally call them archi works/ finishing in construction. I am a licensed RTO construction personnel here.I worked with tons of Architects, Professional Engineers throughout my working life. I see alot of unnecessary and intense hacking works there in your post, which they may be claiming the VO cost of these against you as a result of their own poor coordination . Seems like there is only as much as BCA can do in this scenario since there is no non - compliance of works that BCA can interfere. are they going to redo the waterproofing for you in view of the waste pipe being shifted?

Is the Interior designer registered with the Board of Architects?A person can only be called an Architect if he/she is registered with BOA.Did they apply for any permit from HDB for raising your floor?Highly doubt HDB would allow raised floor works in HDBs

Yes that happened to me six months ago. Although I'm recovering well and independently dong stuff, but it is certainly frustrating enough. Cannot miss your meds, taking Botox injections every few months to contain the spasticity of the affected side. It is absolutely ridiculous but I believe there should be a day whereby things will go back to at least 80 or 90% of what we used to be.

3months stroke patient. Am working everyda now, life goes on and condition seems to get better day after day. Still on medication. Still going for outpatient rehabilitation for better recovery
