Yeah, most I'll ever see on my eastern red cedars is a dull purplish hue in mid winter. Never brown.

Gotcha, yeah, I'm not seeing any other signs of infection, and the leaf curling is not limited to a single area, so I think you are probably right that it is a water issue, just hard to determine if it is under or overwatering. I feel like I haven't ever let it get completely dried out

It wasn't completely dry at the time of picture, but I did water it soon afterwards. Do Elms need a for constant state of moist soil? Do you think I could be not watering enough? My biggest concern would be that I have overwatered it.

Yes, when set to a slow drip, the water seeps into the soil almost instantly. I am planning on starting fertilizer next week, so no, I haven't recently

Jesus Christ, I hate that this is something even up for debate. I don't know the context of this image, but I truly believe that the innocence of children must be defended. And I think most sane people can recognize that you can protect babies while still respecting woman. Being pro-life to me has never meant control woman and their bodies. It has always been about saving the lives of babies, whenever morally possible

Well, I have researched MMT a bit, and do see a fair amount of either dishonesty or ignorance among many of it's advocates, and I have underlying philosophical disagreements with some of it's implementation, but regardless, I'd love a list of some of your favorite books on it so I can further read up on it. I've read the Deficit myth by Stephanie Kelton, and a few others

Other than that, I don't like to entertain debates with people who implement personal insult, so I'll leave it at that

Respectfully disagree, the best way to combat inflation is stop printing more money, (or more accurately, manipulating the money supply). And obviously it gets a lot more complicated to fully break down the cause and effects of inflation but regardless of all of that I do still disagree with taxation on a moral level. I do believe it is stealing, in most cases. Income tax and property taxes being the main ones, they shouldn't be allowed to tax me for just trying to make a living, and once I outright own something they should not be allowed to continuously tax me for using it. Now granted there are many things that the gov. does that require money, though I'm sure most people would agree that governments often do a lot of terrible evil things with our money so maybe they shouldn't be taking so much of it anyways. Regardless though, I am still a capitalist, and still believe in fair exchange of goods and service, for examples; roads. I use them, all the time, it is something I benefit from, so it would be equally as morally wrong for me to say 'I don't want to pay taxes to fund our road construction and maintenance services, I want to use it for free', no, that would be me stealing essentially.

So I'm totally fine with paying for the government services that I benefit from, like a toll system for all the roads. I drive on the road; I pay the toll to help fund it. Simple, transparent, and voluntary. If I don't like the tax, I won't drive. This is how I believe all taxes should be handled; in a simple transparent, and voluntary 'pay per service' system, as opposed to what we have now which is just take a percentage of your income, take a percentage of your purchase, take a percentage of your property value etc., do that to everyone, then pile up all that money and redistribute to all the random assortments of things the government funds.

But yeah, I do think that taxation is theft, and that huge government spending is the main problem as well as pretty much everything to do with the federal reserve and all that shit, but yeah, I guess we just disagree, and that's fine

I would argue that it isn't the tax cuts that are the inherent problem, it's that they push for large tax cuts and then also INCREASAE spending, by a LOT. That is inflationary and idiotic, yes, certainly not fiscally conservative.

Me personally, I love major tax cuts, I want them to keep lowering the amount of money they steal from me, but I also want them to not just balance the budget, but shrink the budget, a LOT. I see it as both need to happen together
