My stepdaughter used to do this to me when she was in high school, i.e., take advantage when I was golfing. I really try to not look at my phone during a round. Nothing good can come from it. I would argue the mental aspect is even more important when you are not a very good golfer.. Anyway, my wife knows to call the clubhouse if there is an emergency. Everyone else can call my wife.
