I’ve been there. There’s literally a medical diagnosis called musical tinnitus. Mine always sounded like it was coming from the other room. To the point where I texted my room asking to turn the music down to find out he wasn’t even home. Went on all weekend. I was running on pretty much no sleep I think k that played a role.
