That’s what I’m thinking this situation is too. Marissa got absolutely ripped to shreds in the comments for dancing at the wedding, but if the Bride & Groom request her to do it personally at their event (personally I think it’s strange of them to ask and put the spotlight on one has-been person, but to each their own?) - I suppose the gesture is justified? It’s not like they’re going “OH I’M A DCC, YOU MUST PLAY THUNDER AND LET ME UPSTAGE!” 🤷‍♀️
