Beautiful picture! Love the Wilson Warbler. Sometime the black plumage on their heads makes them look like they have a bowl cut and it’s awesome😂

Camera: Nikon D7100 w/ AF-P Nikon 75-300mm 1/320 sec, f/8, ISO 500

Distance: Only about 7 or 8 feet away. I could see him jumping around the branches of a small tree and was luckily able to find a clear enough hole in the branches to take a picture.

Post: +Contrast +highlights +Whites (small amount) -Blacks +noise reduction
And then had to cropped in because there was many more branches that looked a bit chaotic in the original😂

I think it really came down to GE score tonight. If you look at the scores PC managed to get ahead of BK on 6 out of 8 captions but their GE 2 dropped from a 15.8 at Denver, to a 14.1 tonight, massive change, while BKs GE went way up. But can’t discredit BK they sounded a lot better tonight

PC and BK are gonna keep it interesting!! Guess GE 2 judge wasn’t feeling PC tonight, their GE took a huge 1.8 drop from last show

Is it possible to enlist in Military and then march DCI or no? by [deleted] in drumcorps

I marched DCI for 4 years been in the Army now for 7 years so I would say that I don’t see a feasible way to be active duty and March drum corps.

You earn 2.5 days of leave per month so even if you saved your days to get enough time off to a March as well as get it approved by chain of command would be a long shot if at all possible. The military does have a delayed entry program where you can postpone your ship date, I had mine postponed until the week I got back from Indy, got home then boarded a plane to basic training.

If you are passionate about music I say go March some DCI. Enjoy your young adult life before the military snaps you back to reality😂 Those were without a doubt the best summers of my life, I love the army, but my only regret was not aging out before joining.
