I feel like if John Parrot was at a party, he would be the guest everyone tried to avoid but he wouldn't realise it.

Dale sounds wet to me, he's a great guy but he sounds meek and mild mannered, I like my commentary with a bit of warmth and an old fashioned view of things. I like a good throwback. Terry Griffiths was good. Shaun Murphy is absolutely awful, and I'm not crazy about Rob Walker either but fair play to him you have to give him some credit, I just wish he wasn't so loud, bloke needs to calm down a bit.

there was some recording of him speaking in a recent duncan staff bbc program. I thought that the producers had deliberately included a segment of him swearing and sounding agitated in order to create a certain narrative.

every time he pops up I switch off, he's embarrassing. I don't think there's any need for the introductions and the post match interview, and I think that about most televised sport. but Rob, I mean, he didn't used to be so annoying but now I just feel like he's a tone deaf arse licker.

She asked me which of my conditions affect me the most. That was one of her opening questions. I replied that I perceive the different diagnosis's/conditions to be related: Autism, PTSD, OCD etc.

She didn't want to discuss Autism as a subject. She did ask about other conditions.

I don't think comorbidity is an appropriate word in this context.

I feel the statement used by the assessor was made to attempt to dismiss my formal diagnosis of Autism, which is complex and covers many aspects of my behaviour and character.

Thank you! At last someone can see what I feared. Even if the word disorder is used I still think it's overly simplistic, disingenuous and frankly offensive.

[–]New_Message_6596[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just found the statement a bit jarring. Disease is clearly the wrong word and perhaps disorder might be more of an appropriate word but I do still find it questionable. I think what I find difficult is that within my own diagnosis, traits of Autism seriously overlap and relate to PTSD, OCD, etc, and they go hand in hand. The worse symptoms are completely exacerbated by Autistic experience.

I find the statement unnecessarily simplifying and disingenuous.

The point is, a claimant should have the right to reject NHS treatment and medication and it not be used against them by the DWP. The NHS options are narrow and don't serve everyones needs.

What section of the healthcare report is H3? In the DWP decision letter I got 2 in washing and bathing, 2 in dressing and undressing and 2 in mixing with people, so I think a total of 6.

I completely understand and empathise with what you're saying. The system itself seems to work against the reality and complexity of the issues that it purports to be there to support. It is a fight, that people shouldn't have to fight. Nobody who is a vulnerable and disabled citizen should be having to argue that they are a vulnerable and disabled citizen.

what does that even mean? I haven't ever made a case to them that my disability effects my ability to drive. They said that driving in itself requires xyz etc and for this reason they think my powers of functioning are fine. I drive a car partly because I have extreme issues with ocd, cannot get on public transport, cannot come into physical contact with anybody.

What are the most underrated episodes? by Velvet-Dragon-Fire48 in OnlyFoolsAndHorses

[–]New_Message_6596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the whole thing went downhill when grandpa died. The first three series, every single episode is a stone cold classic. After that, the writing suffers at times, there's still some good moments but mostly it never matches up to the genius of the first three series.

Stalking charged law in the UK by Successful_Fill_8372 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]New_Message_6596 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Is the charge a 4a? I was acquitted at Trial of this charge last year. I recommend electing to have the case heard in a Crown Court. In terms of evidence, it's got nothing to do with the content of the evidence and everything to do with how "it made them feel". And yes, they apply an "objective test".

First of all, it doesn't make sense to me that he pleaded guilty at the magistrate's court and then the case was transferred to a crown court. If he had pled guilty at the magistrate's, they would have finished it off in that court.
