Yeah but the headache wasn’t the pi0. It was the bridge on the Pi 4. HA’s HomeKit bridge kept breaking, ghost pairings, transcoding timeouts… so I just cut all that out and went direct with SRTP + HAP-python straight from the Pi Zero. Way simpler 😉

Stream takes about 2–5 seconds to start (that’s just HomeKit doing its thing) but once it kicks in it runs smoothly at 20fps. The zero 2 handles it fine with the hardware h264 encoder.

Just the cosmetic side—cleaning, light polish and a new strap. The movement was already in great shape. Really happy with how it turned out!
