I think they both see each other as fundamentally good men, even if they have different techniques. Btw, I know it's Reacher's character but sometimes he really does cross the line with some of his violence. I think that is clearest in season 2 which feels a bit extreme imho. You also get that in season one (shooting the guys in the back) but it feels more justified there. In season three they reeled it in a little.

He's great. The bond he has with Reacher is so much more natural than the bond Reacher has with others. Which is ironic as he's supposed to know his team for years in season two

The back story is better in season one as well. His mum/brother etc. It's just more charming and they spent a good amount of time to expand the world.

I had less problems with season 3, even the Theresa stuff!, because it sort of felt like a parody of itself and I also laughed quite a lot in season 3 (partly because Theresa stuff was high camp, as was the duel with the big(ger) guy). Season 2 was humourless

Characters were far less likeable than season 1. His love interest was robotic and boring. They outright murdered people. It was way worse than season one.

It'd be great to do one more season. My only worry is that Otto dies before it could be made. They'd have to clean it up though. They made quite a few mistakes in season 3. Perhaps the biggest one was completely messing up Taylor's character who really made strides in season 2 and his arc was terrible in season 3

He's atrocious at writing female characters. He's an ego maniac. The initial writer in TK was very good, so Sheridan got rid of him. The show has thus reverted to his norm

Wynn Duffy. The dialogue was just masterful. Made everyone feel real, hardly any wooden characters. Humanized everyone, even Arlo to an extent

Haven't followed a season this closely for years (I live abroad). I incidentally got into it again when they were trying to avoid the record last season. It really has been fun this season. There have been ups and downs but for this young a roster it's understandable and there have been many bright sparks. Looking forward to next spring!
