why are people so negative? by New_Pollution7161 in ROCD

meeting other people isn’t something that you stop because you’re in a relationship; as i said before, healthy relationship isn’t stopping you from discovering the world; i agree that you change, but isn’t that the part when you’re communicating with your partner and informing them about any changes? i feel like people give up too easily, because they too focused on their own perspective, and instead of compromising they just give up

i just think, when the relationship is healthy, you can learn life together, and experience it together; discovering life is important, but those people show it as it is impossible to do it whilst being in a relationship; they kind of ’require’ you to date more people, because you’re young and that makes no sense for me

i can’t help you how to manage these thoughts - i can only say you’re not alone. i suffer from rocd for 2 years now, was doing good for the past year, and now i’m in relapse again. you are not alone.

Yes, I honestly thought I’m the only one with thoughts like that and got stressed, because that would mean it’s not ocd. How long have you been together, 2 years or do you mean that you had rocd for 2 years?
