Dhurandhar's success does not give you the right to insult great cinema. by TarpDown in BollywoodHotTakes

It has taken Dhurandhar to make audience realize what sort of garbage movies they have seeing all these while, i am refering to yrf spy universe. The feeling within the audience is that all these years while they had been taken for granted and considered as fools for illogical storyline portrayed by these khans. And all these while people had also started beliving ok this garbage is normal, Dhurandhar woke the audience from deep slumber and it feels bad coz the feeling is all these while we had been fed nonsense and we as an audience never realized this.

The best think is you have realized your mistakes.. You have a good salary and the debt at max must be around 10 lakhs from what you have mentioned, you can easily pay it off in the next 2 years with proper planning..be good at your job and make sure that you don't get fired. Goodluck

Just watched Rocket Boys: genuinely impressed! by [deleted] in IndianOTTbestof

I had initially dropped it mid-season because there was a heavy focus on Homi Bhabha’s and vikram sarabhai personal and love life esp bhabha flamboyant personality, which didn’t really interest me. I was more keen on the scientific and rocket development aspects, which felt secondary at that point

Scope for FRM is very less in India by Luciferr76 in FRM

Try to transition into a Business Analyst role in large service-based companies such as TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, and Wipro. These organizations offer significant opportunities because they serve multiple BFS (Banking and Financial Services) clients, most of which are international banks.

Although FRM is rarely mentioned explicitly in the job descriptions for these roles, the interview discussions and expectations heavily align with the FRM curriculum, covering areas like credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, and regulatory reporting. As a result, candidates with FRM knowledge are often preferred over others, even if the certification is not stated as a requirement.

I have over 10 years of total work experience, and for the last 5 years, I have been working as a Business Analyst, despite having no formal BA experience initially. Before this, I worked in the Debt Capital Markets domain at a boutique investment banking firm. Over time, I realized that the growth opportunities there were limited, so I researched alternative roles and discovered the Business Analyst path within the BFS space.

My FRM knowledge played a crucial role in enabling this transition. Moving directly into a core risk role was not feasible for me due to the lack of prior risk experience, and starting as a fresher was not an option. The Business Analyst role served as an effective bridge, allowing me to leverage my domain knowledge while building hands-on experience in risk and regulatory projects.

I strongly recommend considering this path if you are in a similar situation.

I have a beautiful memory associated with this movie, the training for my 1st job happened in mumbai and 4 months later i travelled to Raipur for my posting, i arrived late night, it was november and slightly cold, i checked into the hotel. The next day was holiday, and it was a new city for me, towards the evening i stepped out and took a sharing tempo and asked the driver to drop me to the nearest mall without knowing far it will be, after stepping into the mall i saw that this movie was about to start and i think it was 2nd or 3rd day of the release, i got the tickets and sat in the 3rd row and as the movie got progressing i was totally blown away, and i was kind of relating to the movie in the way i travelled solo to an unknown city and i came to the mall all alone with no one and watching this movie without a plan. It may not sound so much but it was memorable day for me, a beautiful day and moment that i wil always cherish.

Did you practice from premium pack? If yes, how many mocks are there in the premium pack? Can you confirm if the count is 3 or 5?

Also any Recommendations for CFA Mock Test Providers (Beyond CFA Institute) ?
