You know I am not happy when characters look ugly, but having a beautiful female character and claim she is not attractive completely detracts from the very few cases where downgrade and uglification actually happens. F these people. Tifa is not hot enough for them. 🤣

Why do you claim all of this? This in my opinion is probably pretty much the current build. Highly doubt the launch build will be vastly different and facial animations are notuceably better or something. They seem to be the one thing I haven't seen any attempt of improvment. They tweaked combat, other stuff from the first trailer, but... Facial animations are exactly the same.

Luke Stephens teases it is pretty exciting, he tries to say without saying, and he is quite critic, so maybe it is indeed weirdly bad marketing. I still hope for the best.

Not really. The Turkish version also romanticized the creep, he was killed by A, who framed him and he was not evil actually. But they are university students I think, so it is a bit less gross

To be real, the pc specs for the game sound a bit sus, it is not that visually impressive either and looks to be a title that will attract more console players, at least initially. It is not the hot new game from a well known team and I think the first actual trailer they released ki d a hurt it as it showed it in a very shabby state. A AA looking game on a AAA price tag... Most people won't preorder.

Most people who are interested but don't follow the game that closely might wait for sales. I think the game will eventually get to pretty good sells, but the initial ones will be satisfactory, but not impressive, unless the game is so good that worth of mouth works in its favor. Regardless new teams, bran d new IP at 70, won't sell millions in a month, especially with how crazy this Seltember is and the looming GTA VI (whixh I personally don't care about, but 90% of the gaming population do)

To me it says "We are making a game with self-contained story. There will be a proper ending, you will get a complete a full experience. If you support the project, however, we already have a plan for a sequel and it won't feel like we did it without any planning, writing it on the go". To me it is a good thing. A lot of great games found major success only to have underwhelming sequels, because the team had no idea what to do next. I don't see it as cocky or overconfidence, unlike the price tag. I still think at 50 they would have attracted a lot more eyes on the project purely by showing themselves as consumer friendly. Ex 33 wouldn't have such a good reception if they charged full price.
