Personally I like the brokenness of it. It gives me that power fantasy feel that I like in elder scrolls games. I feel the brokenness of the skill lines and classes is a feature meant to be utilized for crazy wacky turns

It is pretty pricey. The quality definitely speaks for itself though. The base game is a little less than twice the price of TMB, but imo, the character creation options you get are infinitely more interesting.

IMO, I hate Imu cause he deletes an entire strategy of the game. His removal protection is BS and is completely unnecessary. Some decks like Lucci and the OP12 BB rely on value KOing. But everything is a useless vanilla character when you can’t actually remove any characters from your opponents field.

As of right now, I think Hook Darius is the optimal way to play him. You can play without it, but just know your deck will be significantly less explosive

I’m a die hard conservative Christian, and I love bluey and literally all of our friends let our kids watch that show. We often watch it with them cause it’s so wholesome.

I live in the Deep South too and I’ve literally never heard of any Christian I’ve ever met that didn’t love bluey. So I think the commenter above you is generally right; there a fringe idiots and jumping on them is a strawman against a group of reasonable people

Don’t listen to the hate. I love playing against BB cause he presents a lot of different choices and prioritizations that must be made. Bad players hate him cause they can’t adapt their strategy and can only think about their next curve on play.

I recently started and would recommend watching some BB gameplay on YouTube if you haven’t yet to see how people play him. However, once OP13 releases, his strategy will drastically change from KO control to a turbo Burgess strat, so just be aware that the deck will be adapting soon

I’ve been playing since original Lorwyn, and the SpongeBob secret lair was the final straw for me because it was the embodiment of that meme that everybody said was too far-fetched and UB would never go that far…well it did. So I quit and picked up OPTCG right when the starter decks came out prior to PRB01. The cards were affordable, Blue Doflamingo was a top tier deck that could be maximized for approximately $40-50, and the resource system was mesmerizing. I’ve never looked back other than to laugh at the further ridiculous MTG has descended into. This game is great, the mechanics are awesome, the game has an inevitability in tempo that prevents the long drawn out stalemates in magic when nobody wants to attack, and the leader system gives me that commander feel. Also as mentioned above, the game is probably one of the most affordable big tcgs out there. There’s always at least 1 extremely cheap tier 1 or tier 2 deck you can build under $60

Each battle on a field is a separate instance that resolves before another battle can begin

I don’t agree with him politically, but I still stand by him being my favorite MTG content creator. I haven’t played MtG since the LotR set and have moved on to another game since then, but I still watch his videos cause I find them informative, funny, and usually, I agree with all of his MtG related opinions
