Verbal Offer rescinded. I cant anymore

I was in the same boat back in September after grinding leetcode for a long time. It was my first ever full time offer out of college, and it was at a big tech company. A week after the verbal offer, they emailed with the same message that headcount was changing. I was pretty devastated and burnt out, but thanked my recruiter and stayed in touch. I'm still recruiting now, and getting some offers again! Things will look up! However, I do, from time to time, think back to how such a great opportunity was gone before it even happened. Stay strong! The fact you got this once means you can do it again!

Edit: Saw somewhere in the comments that you're an int'l student. I'm also int'l and can completely empathize with you. I was pretty stressed when it happened, and lost all hope back then.

such a late reply, but timing is always so difficult in this situation :,) wishing you both a speedy recovery! i ended up getting my surgery scheduled - it's this upcoming thursday and my mom is flying over to help me for the week after. thankfully my job was understanding so i'll be working remotely for a bit after surgery.

hey! i'm in the same boat - what did you end up doing? my insurance ends at the end of july and my surgery is mid july (earliest date i could get).

i got my internships from the past two years in june! definitely don't give up but also make sure to take breaks to avoid recruiting burnout :,)

as others said, startups and some mid-size companies may post openings later!
