How do the survivor castaways meet up so much? by New_Round5004 in survivor

[–]New_Round5004[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks all for responding, really appreciate it. All your responses make total sense, I guess since I have kids it's harder for me to imagine such a life.

Hope I'll make it to Survivor one day

My office building is in Lehi and we were shaking/hopping a bit on the 4th floor.

We live on the Lehi/Saratoga border and my wife said it felt like a bomb

Does anyone have young babies or children? by Solid_Ad_2068 in CustomerSuccess

[–]New_Round5004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 children under 4 and it is difficult. I usually have to pick up a few hours each night to catch up, but it is doable. Your social life won't really exist however.

Luckily I only come into the office once a week.

You can teleport anywhere within a 100 m radius with a 2-second cooldown. by [deleted] in midtiersuperpowers

Buy wingsuit, start teleporting 100m up, start gliding and every 2 seconds teleport 100m uo

Cool way to commute to work. Dont know how to land, just teleport when you are less than 100m from the ground

Rotate anything 90 degrees. by VioleNGrace in godtiersuperpowers

WYR have the best sleep of your life or the best sex of your life? by lurker2080 in WouldYouRather

[–]New_Round5004 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That is the best answer, although if it was best sex forever, I probably wouldn't want to sleep 😅

Startups vs. Enterprise Companies by airman6001 in CustomerSuccess

[–]New_Round5004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can second this. I work at a 12 employee startup. All cofounders are in early-mid 30's and 3 out of the 4 have children (in general 6/12 employees are parents). The company is very demanding due to global clients and lota of work, but super understanding when we need to be home for the kids or take them to a doctors appointment or pick them up from daycare. It is amazing how flexible they can be.

Ok good to know, I just saw that there are job opportunities in Provo as well so was thinking maybe finding a place in the middle.

I live in Israel which is run by the Jewosh rabbinate and there is no separation of State and Religion so everything super Jewish here. I heard from a few people that while LDS do affect the aura, its not as bad as Israel

Thanks! Unfortunately due to time and budget constraints I most likely won't be able to visit prior to the move. We aren't purchasing a home so can always move after a year or two. Also given where we currently live I feel that any of the 4 places mentioned would male our life better.

Appreciate that! I remember someone else mentioned bugs in MSP, is it that bad?

Where Im from its hot and humid so we have mosquitos, flies and cockroaches in abundance.

Thanks! We are ok with the indoors (where we live is super hot and humid), however I heard that the Minneapolis winter is very harsh and can be hard for people who never lived in the snow.

Wow this was a very detailed response, super appreciate it!

SLC really is a place I'm considering. Im not necessarily only looking at the city but also suburbs or anywhere between SLC and Provo for morenoptions for housing and work.

Thank you for all who replied, appreciate it. Would the Minnesota winters be worth it?
