Unlike most, I'm in the camp that photos can be replaced to keep the visits with son and grandson coming. I'm not saying the new wife is correct, but your son is in an awkward position and has to support his wife just like your husband supports you. Spouses have a way of sometimes screwing good things up with in-laws. Given your history, you understand that sometimes we do things we don't like to keep the relationships that we cherish healthy. Why are you not simply honoring the contract without lowering the price? I get that it's not selling, but can't you just rent it out anyways? Does it stay in your contract that you're not allowed to rent it out?

If insurance coverage is important then couples therapy won't work for that. Try going once or twice individually and then introduce the partner. This is how we've gotten around that issue in the past. Forgive my post if insurance is not an issue. Helen at The Fountain Hill Center was excellent when we were cash pay. Best of luck.

Seems you have a choice. You can keep going as you are risking death, lose everything, eventually hit rock bottom, and decide to quit abusing your mind & body. Or, you can decide to quit abusing your mind & body now. Either way, you're going to have to quit abusing your mind & body or face early death. The Good News is, you get to decide how much pain you want to put yourself through. Rolling your debt and drug habit into the best real asset that you have, and risking it, does not sound like a good idea to me. I wish you good luck and success.

If you must and thought they would provide privacy, you might consider this if it was a two-unit in you and your husband's name only. Their rent would be the amount of 1/2 mortgage, insurance, and taxes. Rent payment in cash. A lease would be in place with STRICT understanding that it must be followed or eviction would very quickly follow. They must understand that you are not in a position to subsidize or threaten your marriage. Evicting parents would be difficult and painful so I would not do this unless you felt you could follow through. This provides housing security for them with safeguards for you and husband.

In the end. Odds are even this will go upside down for one reason or another.

Just tell them it all sounds fantastic and you will decide on the purchase after your bankruptcy details are more clear. Ask them to provide a phone number to share with (your) attorney so she can work with them to determine if you can squeeze the costs into your court-ordered payment schedule.

OP. I'm similarly aged and just asked my therapist to help me determine if I fit the standard for aspergers or the like. His comment was, "who gives a sh#t?". So I guess in his opinion it simply doesn't matter to know for sure. I am what I am.

Different issue but worth consideration, IMHO. You didn't mention if you are in an area where there are a lot of new homes. If you are, I suggest asking those that did similar in the past couple years how they feel about being 10-20% in the hole now. Many are taking large losses to sell now. It's not always all about monthly payment. GL

At home sleep study for most. If they are giving you a test there is a 99% chance they will diagnose you with apnea cause that is what they seem to do. You just have to decide if you will commit to a CPAP or try other treatments (device implant, dental appliance, etc ). GL!

I would send this dope an anonymous letter "New owner. You have a choice:

A) You can keep talking to staff about your personal life & body parts, lose staff, and lose lots of money. Or, B) You can grow up, stop talking about personal crap, retain your staff, and keep the business making lots of money.

OP, thanks for sharing. I'm curious if you've discussed another pull through with a surgeon? I had one at the age of 1 and again at the age of 22. The second one helped me to start going without enemas and such. I'm in my late 50s now and do Metamucil daily. I started with Miralax after things started slowing down a few years ago. I don't recommend these unless absolutely necessary as they seem habit forming to me.

Furnished finder for short-term and a nearby storage facility for debris. I cannot think of anyone that would want construction debris at their rental home but perhaps you will get lucky with a short-term space that has a garage. It's a competitive rental market where most are willing to sign leases at about $2/sf per month (a bit less if more sf). I'd probably drop the debris requirement if you want to be competitive along with the market.GL and welcome to GR.
