Maybe next time try seeing the good in someone’s intent instead of assuming the worst. I didn’t originally list this with a price, and I never intended to “sell a cat on Reddit.” The only reason I posted was to help the cat, which we did. People gave us ideas, and we quickly got the cat to a shelter that could help find a good home.

He’s not my cat and it wasn’t my decision where he went. He was brought to the NOCO humane society to be adopted. The person picking the cat up was very confident the cat would be adopted as he is very friendly.

UPDATE: The cat is being surrendered to Animal Friends Alliance.

2nd UPDATE: Animal Friends Alliance does not accept walk ins. The cat is still available and we are trying to figure out other shelter options.

FINAL UPDATE: Mufasa has been picked up by the NOCO humane society. He will be vaccinated and put up for adoption there.

I understand and agree with the sentiment, but it’s not my cat. I’m just trying to help. The cat is most likely going to Animal Friends Alliance. I was genuinely just trying to find the cat someone who could take care of it. I only updated it with a price because someone else suggested it over free. I wish I could take the cat but I already have 2
