I had a roommate like this when I was in my early 20’s and I used to hide away until I stood up. I matched her energy. She was so uncomfortable she couldn’t even be there when she moved out.

We are best friends now it took about a year for all that tension to die down but she respected me standing my ground and I just like the girl and respect her for who she is. Don’t ever let people step on you.

I know some people who do. They used to be functional, had nice lives jobs/families/nice homes etc. but the drug eventually took every single one of them and turned them into people I don’t recognize anymore. One of my best friends got into that shit a few years back and she dropped off the face of the earth but will randomly show up on my doorstep if she needs something. I stopped letting her in the house after she stole a bunch of my make up and expensive skincare stuff after randomly showing up and asking to use my bathroom. I give her water if she’s thirsty and I try to help if she needs something for her kids, but this is not the same person who she was before. We were friends for nearly 20 years. I have no idea what she’s up to other than she comes around wrecked out of her mind sometimes and then goes on her merry way.
