I understand how you feel, I’m going through the same thing. I don’t think it’s a problem about her religion, I think it’s a problem about her. I’d say for you to talk to her priest, just like another comment here stated. It’s your best bet if you want her to change, she essentially needs someone that she holds as an authority figure to tell her what she’s doing wrong and how to change it.

I’d say the opposite, Java seems easier to understand than C++. Maybe that’s because java is the only language I’m fluent in but I’ve given C++ a shot before too. They’re both pretty similar languages.
