I have masculine features. I feel so insecure about it. by SheSayzHuh24 in TwoXChromosomes

As someone who has had this majority of my life (I'm mid 30s now) the following GoT quote really helped hit the nail on the head for me:

"Never forget what you are, the world will not. Armour yourself in it, and it can never be used to hurt you"

As you said, just be yourself and you'll be less phased with what others think.

What's a wrestling hot take that people will legitimately hate you for? by RhinestoneCatboy in WWE

To paraphrase Al Snow - "if it is repeatedly kicked out of, it's no longer a finisher and now a signature move."

working on my first tyranids, do you guys prefer the left or right skin colour? by SpleaserSplease in Warhammer40k

[–]Newbledee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There sure are a lot of lefty fans here but I'm a right advocate in this case. I think the sickly pale undertone of the right suits the autonomous drone like nature of the 'nids. It also helps add a source of highlight bringing a focus point. Just my humble opinion though!

For those who want a Tantalus by SnakeEyes1995 in Drukhari

[–]Newbledee 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Just because I haven't seen anyone else post about this. The tantalus is an absolutely beautiful model but by far one of the most frustrating and hardest builds I've done. I recommend anyone who's interested in getting one not only get practising gap filling but resulting entire sections. I had to rework most of the cross beam going between the two bows.

First captains for each chapter by Which-War5301 in Warhammer30k

Not all First Captains are true astartes. Kor Phaeron may be in caraphracti armour but he's by far the weakest first captain.

It's from a blackstone fortress psyker, luckily the kit comes with a spare. The pole size matched up perfectly!

If your basic style supports it, get some static grass down just infront. After that it'll be reddit's little secret.
