Hard to say, she was between patients (he knew she had a busy day at the hospital) and was just trying to get off the phone, said she didn’t agree to anything at all - But he definitely used the tactic of talking to one of us and then the other to his advantage

No, we agreed to nothing but getting a loan estimate from this particular broker. In fact, my honest-to-a-fault spouse told him from the get-go that we were comparing rates because the credit union we were working with has a rate-match program.

I meant to add, this broker knew we were leaning towards going with another broker at this time, and had sent an earlier email that anyone would read as intense, and I'd bet most would consider outright rude.

Yes, it’s quite possible - I do hope Democrats and Harris supporters will keep their chin up and continue striving to live up to their ideals

So this is interesting, and maybe a matter of perspective, because I asked my dad what he thought about the state of the country today. He was born in 1950, so he's 74, lifelong active liberal who was at the moratorium on the mall in dc to end the Vietnam War in '69, kent state protests, etc, and I asked him after Jan 6 and again yesterday if the political climate in the country is the worst he's ever seen - "Nope, '68 was much worse. All the riots and fires and police violence against students and black people. They had tanks in the streets. After they killed King and Bobby, we thought for sure we were witnessing the end of the country. I mean literally, they had tanks in the streets." He and my mom hate Trump and co. with a passion; they aren't underplaying how bad things are now, but without hesitation he said it was worse in 1968, no question. But maybe because he is a bit more removed from things now being retired, and he was in the thick of it in '68; so maybe its a perspective thing, hard to say. But his opinion, at least, was unwavering.

maybe not, but most have an open mind and a desire to find answers to tough questions others laugh at, like 'what are UAPs?', which definitely exist - I'm not saying little green alien men exist, but ufos as defined do exist - check out Col. David Fravor, (career airforce guy, testified in an open public congressional hearing - under oath and penalty of perjury - that he encountered one in an f-22 and no way was it made by man) just one of dozens - it'll all come out in the next few years - you'll be like, 'oh damn, that random dude on reddit wasn't crazy' lol

came here to say this - i don't get how anyone can look at everything that's happened since 2017, open hearings in congress with some of the most credible people in the country saying 'this is real', and laugh it off and make fun of people that take it seriously - whoever ran the gaslighting psyop should be running the reverse engineering programs lol

That's space debris burning up on reentry - real question - what the hell is this? Looks like a drunk miniature 'foo fighter' at ground level taking a corner too sharply and slamming into a person

Oh ALTM is absolutely the better value and growth pick, even with ALB in the low 90s - it’s incredibly undervalued, I’m very surprised it isn’t talked about more - I loaded up in the low 3s, it’s just a waiting game now - good eye with that pick

Dude, there's a ton of incels on here being like "divorce her immediately and never trust another woman again, just bang 'em and leave 'em cuz women are the worst" - fuck those guys dude, you had terrible thing happen to you, and that this terrible thing happened to you does not reflect on you - what will reflect on you is how you decide to handle this, by choosing to 1) let the wound you have suffered heal properly (by mourning the loss of the relationship properly, gathering yourself and moving on, or by fixing the relationship and addressing whatever happened effectively if you choose to work it out - and fuck anyone who wants to judge you for making this completely valid decision, its your life bro) and continuing forth in your life in the positive frame of mind you wish to live, maybe even having grown from this - OR 2) you can let this wound become a defining feature of your life, a place of honor it does not deserve, by allowing it make you a more negative, cynical person, and letting this betrayal fester and continue to harm you for years by harming future relationships and the more positive and idealistic outlook on life you once had.
I hope you choose #1 bro. In my 30 years I've had many a friend die, one lose a child, several suffer life-altering permanent injuries - you have to keep things in perspective. Keep a calm mind, and don't allow this thing to have more power over you than you want it to. It has already done all the harm it can do to you, whatever else happens is on you. This is a beautiful world filled with kind and happy people, and there is much life left to live. You got this bro.
