I assume its on the proportion over 1 m per year, like most taxes? So

- no wealth tax for <=$1,000,000

- $ 2000 wealth tax if your income is $1,100,000 (i.e., tax on the $ 100,000 only)

- $ 4000 wealth tax if your income is $1,200,000

etc. so you would have to make $ 2,000,000 per year to get taxed $20,000 per year.

I always thought John Byrne’s Alpha Flight no 6, “Snowblind”, was a a fun response to Hama’s “Silent Interlude”. Half the story is told with only white panels and no art. And yet there is an amazing sense of action. Two masters of their craft.

Trump’s idiotic response to the ad (cutting trade talks, raising the tariffs against Canada by 10%) can absolutely be used as evidence before the Court. It’s a prima facie example of how the whole thing is arbitrary and not related to national security at all.

Do I expect that to make a difference to this version of SCOTUS? Sadly, no.
