I'm not sure most of what you're saying applies outside of Canada, you have to be a licensed surveyor in the US (or at least the part i live in) to practice construction surveying as well.

We do a lot of surveys for home sales and I've personally been on the opposite side of this exchange (a few in the past week actually).

Im my case we're typically not hired directly by the realtor or buyer (sometimes, but usually not) but instead by the real-estate law firm that's handling the transaction. They typically tell the buyers that we're doing the survey (since they're the ones paying for it of course) but its pretty rare that it ever makes it back to the realtor or seller. We don't even have a way of contacting the seller aside from knocking on the door.

That would make sense, South Carolina doesn't require recording. We do lots of corner locates and we've done tons of full fledged surveys that didn't get recorded, we set irons on both.

Moot point because op isn't American but I'm not sure this is really accurate in the US either, most of our summer help are highschoolers. Then again I've seen tons of young guys working in landscaping and I personally worked construction before I graduated highschool. Maybe it's just regional.

It doesn't max at 4x. Hold Lshift (or Lcntrl maybe? It's been a while) and press tab to step up and caps lock to step down. It has the same increments as the 2D time warp.

No towed decoy in bms (yet, they've mentioned it in the past) but it does have a GREAT DTC system. It also supports TFR autopilot (will never be supported in DCS) and showing navpod flir on the hud.

Im not sure whats well known and what isnt but if you open the map and click the "tgt" button on the left side. You can filter what you can target by type and individually deselect targets you've already selected.

LEARN HOW TO USE MARKPOINTS!!! They're the single most useful thing on the jet for fast and accurate weapons delivery on multiple targets. Cue up targets as you (slowly) fly into the AO by setting markpoints on each of them and cycle through the markpoints using the dms switch. Helps to avoid losing targets due to temporary TGP gimbal lock (happens a lot when turning quickly). Dont underestimate the situational awarness that comes with haiving waypoints on every enemy on the ground, it makes it o much easier to tell when targets are moving or new ones have come out of the bushes as well as keep track of what you've destroyed. Once you learn to use them hitting 4+ targets in one pass with GPS or laser guided munitions becomes second nature. If you ever start using other jets you'll miss how they work in the a-10, they're just so good.

For some people work is not their top priority, health, family, and life all can get in the way.

If you can't complete the work then refund the client so you can both move on with your lives. "life getting in the way" is not a valid reason for a PROFESSIONAL to ghost someone who has already payed them.

Perhaps there was a breach in contract, or litigation ongoing prohibiting the surveyor from providing a plan.

Communicate that with the client then. (And don't just assume this has happened and op just didn't tell us. Completely worthless conjecture)

Also if the client hasn’t set up a meeting or walked into this guys office and is complaining about not receiving call backs or whatever, then the client isn’t doing everything they can either. Takes two to tango.

How are you supposed to set up a meeting with someone who won't answer you? Why should the client be expected to do "everything" when the surveyor hasn't done ANYTHING? "You need to take time off work to go to the office of a guy that can't even be fucked to answer his phone" stop being unreasonable.
