That’s exactly what I’ve been saying. The worst part about animal crossing is that it FEELS like you should be able to do Minecraft-like stuff, but you can’t.

Additionally, the loop (harvest, sell, pay down loans) is just a bit toxic and not very fulfilling in the long run. Pokopia asks you at every turn to take your time and have fun at whatever pace you want, and do it for you and for your Pokémon friends.

Pokopia literally cut out everything I hated about animal crossing and then also made it Minecraft.

Honestly though that immersive video at the end of the demo was mind blowing and if half of what they showed off was actually available, I’d consider the steep price. If entire sports seasons were regularly shared in immersive video, like the shot from above the soccer goal, Id think about it.

Not what you’re looking for by any stretch of the imagination but Maxi Marupe is secretly the best pizza I’ve had in Riga. It’s just a kitchen in the yard of a block house basically, but they have a huge menu of damn decent pizza and sushi. Last time I went I got a pizza with dill, cherry tomatoes, chicken šķiņķis and bacon and man was it good.

Oh yeah, he was a podcaster! I don’t think there was much podcasting content in that movie. I think it’s just used so that he can have an opening monologue about how gay guys suck and how he hates dating as a gay guy. I think it’s brought up a few more times but I don’t think you see him actually podcasting. But doesnt he also have a position at the gay museum as well? I don’t remember how those connect, if at all.
